Matt graduated in 2006 from Boston University with a B.S. in Journalism. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from Boston College Law School in 2012. While in law school, he interned for Hon. James J. Brady, United States District Court, Middle District of Louisiana, and earned a Top 10 Oralist award in BC Law's Wendell F. Grimes Moot Court Competition. Prior to law school, he worked as newspaper reporter in Massachusetts, where he covered the Massachusetts State House and local government. He is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, the United States District of Massachusetts and the United States District of New Hampshire.
At Coughlin Betke, he concentrates on the defense of civil litigation of all types, including but not limited to premises liability, personal injury, professional liability, construction defect, construction work site accidents, products liability and contract disputes.
