Elizabeth began working at Coughlin Betke in 2008. After a brief sabbatical in a leading civil litigation defense firm in Louisiana, Elizabeth returned to Coughlin Betke.
Elizabeth represents corporations, individuals, and insurers in a wide range of matters in state and federal courts and bankruptcy courts. Her practice includes defense of civil litigation of all types, including but not limited to employment litigation, professional liability, premises liability, personal injury, construction defenct, construction work site accidents, products liability, and contract disputes. Elizabeth received her B.A. in English Literature from St. Michaels College in 1996. She later received her HJ.D. cum laude from Suffolk University Law School in 2006. While at Suffolk, Elizabeth received awards in Oral Advocacy and American Jurisprudence for secured transactions.
She has held internships at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Office of Federal Operations, the City of Quincy Massachusetts, and at the Office of Bar Counsel. Following graduation from Suffolk, Elizabeth also served as a Law Clerk to the Justices of the Massachusetts Superior Court.
