Christopher is a founding partner of Coughlin Betke LLP. Since beginning his practice in 1988, he has tried dozens of cases to jury verdict in state and federal courts throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and beyond. His extensive trial experience and strategic counsel have made him a trusted advisor to a wide range of business and insurance interests nationwide.
Chris's reputation for excellence has led Fortune 500 companies to routinely seek his consultation on complex cases around the country. He currently serves as National Coordinating Counsel for Costco Wholesale Corporation and HP Inc., where he oversees their litigation programs nationwide, providing strategic direction and ensuring consistency across the programs.
Throughout his distinguished career, Chris has been involved in the defense ofmany significant and high-profile civil cases including the wrongful death litigation stemming from the “Big Dig” tunnel ceiling collapse.
Christopher holds an AV© rating from Martindale-Hubbell, which indicates preeminent legal ability and very high ethical standards as established by confidential opinions from members of the Bar.
