Layth graduated from Suffolk University Law School in 2023 and from Boston University in 2020. Prior to joining Coughlin Betke, Layth worked at a boutique commercial litigation firm in Boston and clerked at the Connecticut Superior Court. While at Suffolk Law, Layth served as the Executive Editor of the Journal of Health and Biomedical Law and as president of OutLaw, the law school’s LGBTQ+ student organization. Layth was also a Rule 3:03 Certified Student Attorney with Suffolk Law’s Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship Clinic and a teaching assistant for Commercial Law Survey. Outside of law school, Layth completed judicial internships with the Honorable William G. Young at the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts and with the Honorable Kenneth V. Desmond, Jr. at the Massachusetts Appeals Court. Layth graduated from Suffolk Law with an Intellectual Property Law Concentration with Distinction and Pro Bono Honors, and was the
recipient of the 2023 Pro Bono Service Award.At Coughlin Betke, Layth works in all aspects of civil litigation, including commercial litigation, personal injury, premises liability, and products liability.
