Andy has over 20 years of trial practice and litigation experience and concentrates in the defense of matters involving professional liability, construction defect, construction work site accidents, products liability, premises liability, personal injury, employment and contract disputes. He has achieved successful results for his clients in both State and Federal Court trials.
Andy is a Past President of the Massachusetts Defense Lawyers Association and was a long-time member of its Board of Directors. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI) Construction Law Steering Committee where he currently serves as Committee Vice-Chair. He is also a member of DRI’s Professional Liability and Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Committees. Andy currently serves on the Massachusetts Bar Association’s (MBA) Civility and Professionalism Committee. He has also served as a member of the Joint Bar Committee on Judicial Appointments which reviews, evaluates, votes and reports on the qualifications of individuals under consideration for all judicial and clerk-magistrate appointments to all Massachusetts courts
Andy also served as a member of the MBA Subcommittee to the Supreme Judicial Court’s Steering Committee on Attorney Well-Being. He is a trained mediator, having completed forty hours of mediation training in accordance with M.G.L. c.233 Section 23C. Andy also holds a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) designation from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
