Amanda is a 2010 Magna Cum Laude, Order of the Coif, graduate of American University Washington College School of Law. Prior to joining Coughlin Betke, Amanda worked as a Litigation Associate at an AM Law 100 International Firm, and held two federal court clerkships: one in the United States District Court of Federal Claims in Washington, D.C.; and the other in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. More recently, Amanda worked in the Office of General Counsel for a renowned Massachusetts Hospital. During law school, Amanda was a Senior Staff Member on the American University Law Review, a Dean's Fellow for the Legal Rhetoric & Writing Program, and also had an opportunity to study abroad during a Chile Summer Law Program. Amanda has also worked as an Extern for the United States Department of State, a Voter Protection Director for the Voter Protection Corp Education and Advocacy Fund, and an Intern for the 108th United States Congress. At
Coughlin Betke, Amanda's practice is focused on general defense liability on behalf of individuals and corporations, including premises liability, products liability, professional liability, commercial, and employment litigation.
