Lesley's practice at Coughlin Betke focuses on the defense of civil litigation in Massachusetts and Connecticut. She represents corporations and individuals in various types of disputes, including products liability, premises liability, employment, transportation and commercial litigation. She serves on the board of the Young Lawyers Division of the Massachusetts Defense Lawyers Association. She is also a Fellow of the Massachusetts Bar Foundation and a member of the IOLTA Grant Advisory Committee. She is a member of DRI - Voice of the Defense Bar.
Lesley received her J.D. in 2012 from the University of Connecticut School of Law. During law school, she served as the Symposium Editor of the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal. She also completed internships at General Electric, Boehringer Ingelheim, and Bayer Healthcare and participated in the Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship Law Clinic. Prior to her legal career, Lesley conducted research at the Massachusetts General Hospital and the
Reproductive Medicine Associates of New York. She also pursued graduate school studies in developmental biology and genetics. In addition to law and science, Lesley is passionate about leadership development, diversity and inclusion, and community service. Currently, she serves on the Board of Directors for two non-profit organizations: the Arlington Center for the Arts (ACA), and the National Association of Asian American Professionals - Boston Chapter (NAAAP Boston). Lesley's passion project, The Common List, showcases the diverse organizations serving the AAPI community in the Commonwealth of MA.
